There has never been a greater concern about breast cancer than now! Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among American women. The American Cancer Society estimates that 217,000 new cases of breast cancer will occur in the U.S. in 2005. About 1400 men will develop breast cancer in 2005.
Our current product portfolio consists of the CT Laser Mammography (CTLM)system and the Laser Imager for Laboratory Animals (LILA®) Each device uses IDSI patented laser technologies and proprietary computed tomography algorithms .
CTLM - Computed Tomography Laser Mamography
The CTLM is a state-of-the-art breast imaging device that uses laser technology instead of traditional x-rays to scan the breast for abnormalities. Our CTLM® system uses computed algorithms to create contiguous cross-sectional images and 3-D images of the breast without subjecting patients to painful breast compression.
